GRADE four student Hudson Allen shaved his head in front of his classmates at Bourchier Street Primary School during World’s Greatest Shave week, March 16-20.
Hudson’s classmates joined him in coming to school with crazy hair and donating a gold coin to help the Leukemia Foundation achieve its goal of reaching zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035.
Both Hudson’s parents have wanted to cut his mullet during the 12 months his hair has been growing. They said they bribed him with money, new basketball shoes and even video games to convince him to lose the mullet. Mum, Alice Allen, said Hudson would only give up the mullet for a good cause.
