“Locals from the Goulburn Valley travel regularly to Busia County near Lake Victoria in Kenya to partner with locals in achieving better outcomes in life for their local communities,” reader, Jeremy Rensford tells us of his travels in June 2022.

“During a rest day I climbed a local small mountain with my dear friends – octogenarian Jerry and local leader Francis. We were left with breathtaking views of Lake Victoria and its surrounds.

“Certainly way off the beaten track, only locals, leaving us with so many authentic experiences untainted by mass commercialism. They are beautiful and hospitable people that treat us like family.”
