The big green diamond on GAME utes, trucks, equipment and temporary fences is a common sight on major projects across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales, with their head office based in Shepparton.

“Our staff were amazing during the pandemic, being flexible about shifts, the need to wear additional safety gear and the commitment to keeping a range of infrastructure projects going,” GAME CEO Josh Hudson said.

“One of the things that really motivates our team each day is the commitment we have to the community. Most people have seen a GAME ute or temporary fence on a building site or roadworks around Shepparton, but not as many know about the programs we support for youth in the region,” Josh said.

GAME is a social enterprise, which means that all their profits are spent on programs to help others in the community.

“We have a strong focus on being the leading traffic, grounds maintenance and equipment hire company in regional Victoria, but instead of taking the profits for ourselves or shareholders, we have extra motivation to succeed, because our work is providing new opportunities for the next generation,” explained Josh.

“This year more than 1,400 youth across regional Victoria are registered in our Geared4Careers program to help them find work or pathways to further study – including more than 400 youths in Shepparton. We continue to thrive because our staff know their work directly makes the community safer, and any profit that we make is changing the future of local youth for the better.”

A combination of altruistic community support and reliability is what sets GAME apart.

“Customers typically choose GAME simply because of the quality of our service, our capacity and our reliability, but when they occasionally hear about the programs for young people that are financed by GAME, they are really proud to be our partners in supporting the community,” said Josh.
