Their success lies in the skill of their team, the quality and variety of equipment, and commitment to safety.

“We want everyone to go home at the end of the day safely. As parents, with our son Ty working in the business, we have the ultimate justification for safety,” said Karli.

“A lot has changed over the last 24 years. With safety in particular, there has been a shift from authorities regularly checking business safety compliance, to now leaving it up to business to self-regulate, then looking to prosecute when things go wrong,” added Jarrod.

“This change has meant some operators are not even aware of their responsibilities, and customers are unaware of their responsibility and liability. We spend a lot of time and money ensuring systems are in place to reduce the risk of things going wrong, and provide a level of protection for our customers in the unlikely event they do. We have invested heavily in new technology, for example cranes with technology that sense how far the outriggers are extended and automatically adjusts the lifting capacity accordingly on the computer.”

Quicklift utilise ‘Lift Planning’ software to visualise how a lift will be performed, whilst demonstrating the level of safety margin in each lift.

Another of their strengths is the ability to supply at short notice. “With over 20 cranes we can ensure, the customer gets the right equipment for their job, and that we can supply at short notice or in an emergency,” said Jarrod.

“Also we now have access equipment including boom and scissor lifts for hire.”

Quicklift offer a free assessment service for customers, removing the guesswork of which crane is needed.

“Our professional team will work with you every step of the way. From recommending the best crane for the job, to completing the works on-site. Communication and ensuring our services are as convenient as possible are the most important parts of our job, and we are dedicated to ensuring you are satisfied with our work,” said Jarrod.

“Being a part of this region’s business community is highly rewarding, and we enjoy helping other organisations complete their projects safely and efficiently.”
