ADVENTURE TIME... Scouts is an excellent way for kids to make friends, learn new skills, and have bucket loads of fun while they are doing it. Kialla Scouts are eager to welcome new friends to share in the adventure with them. Cub Scouts from front left around the semicircle, Jack, Wyatt, Lawrence, Liam, Astin and Scout leader Tish Okley. THE call to adventure has been sent out by the 1st Kialla Scouts Group. Children from the age of 7-14 are invited to come join the fun with the Cubs and Scouts as they mix with kids their age building resilience and confidence in a friendly environment, doing a range of activities that will teach them skills they can carry with them through life.

Cubs and scouts can find themselves learning about bushcraft while camping, about nature and the environment, going rock climbing and canoeing, as well as visiting interesting places like museums and the police station.

This year’s Scouts can take part in Jamboree, which will be held in Maryborough Queensland next January. Jamboree is held every four years and is an experience like no other when more than 10,000 Scouts from across Australia and the world meet for a 10-day camp filled with activities, challenges and endless opportunities to make lasting friendships.

There’s a three-night trial for anyone looking to join. For more information call Tish Okely on 0427 311 072.
