AFTER 20 years of servicing the local manufacturing, farming, engineering, automotive and construction industries with approximately 30,000 annual consignments, 2022 has proven to be another successful year for Bicknells Freight.

After adapting to uncertainties the past three years have thrown everyone’s way, they have remained true to their core focus, exemplifying what service really means.

“We are family-owned and run, but big enough to have local resources and connections, ensuring a positive customer experience and a fast response to any need,” explained owner Ros Bicknell.

“Smaller business tend to take more ownership than chains, especially because they are the face of an organisation. It means businesses like ours are proactive in their customer solutions and strive to maintain great relationships with clients and their wider community. Our reliability comes from our experienced people and from focussing on a small geographical area.”

Rural industry support and B2B delivery of rural supplies is imperative to their vision, and they aim to make this as convenient as possible. Bicknell’s Freight has an innovative online booking portal on their website, www.bicknells.net.au, streamlines booking processes, it is detail oriented and automates processes including labelling.

“It’s all about reliable service, customer convenience and innovative systems to produce positive experiences,” said Ros.

With a team of over 14 staff with over 80 years of service between them, Bicknells Freight are proud to be a part of the manufacturing juggernaut our region has grown to become and are looking forward to what the next 12 months holds.
